Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that its leadership team will be visiting the United Kingdom to meet with policymakers, regulators, media, and members of the wider crypto community in the coming weeks.
"The timing of this visit is not coincidental: we are at a pivotal moment for crypto and what’s happening in Europe (EU and UK) should be held up as an example. The region is recognizing the potential and societal promise that crypto provides." the firm wrote in a tweet.

Coinbase received a Wells Notice from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier this week. This notice indicates that the SEC is considering taking enforcement action against Coinbase, alleging that the company violated securities laws with its lending product.
"It increasingly feels like crypto is achieving global scale. But for us here at Coinbase, this is somewhat bittersweet. We are proudly an American company. It’s hard to sit by and watch the US squander the opportunity it has been given." the firm said.
